All Saints Celebrates Thirty Years of Ministry

The year 2009 marks All Saints Temple's 30th year of service.  Orginally named Grace Parish Church, the congregation has endured the peaks and valleys as all churches encounter.  However God has proven that his grace is sufficient.  Pastor Wilbur Allen, Jr started the church with his wife and three children.  It was obvious God sanctioned the work.  Souls were saved and filled with the Holy Ghost and added to the church.

In 1985 Grace Parish purchased the former Turner Chapel United Methodist Church.  Pastor Allen renamed the church All Saints Temple.  Under Elder Allen's leadership the congregation paid for the church in five years.  This church serves as the current meeting place of the congregation.  Due to the retirement of Pastor Wilbur Allen, Jr., (August, 2005) Elder Wilbur Allen, III serves as the current Pastor.

On December 4, 2009 @ 6:30PM, All Saints will celebrate its 1st annual Church Anniversary Dinner.  A silent auction will be apart of the event as well.  The location is the Canton Civic Center.  Mother Thelma Giles Butts (Jurisdictional Supervisor of the Women's Department - Ohio North Jurisdiction, Church of God in Christ) will be the speaker.  For more information, contact Pastor Wilbur Allen, III @ tele: 330.453.8489 or email:  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
